THE SEQUOIA NATIVES OF MONACHE CHEROKEE TRIBE

Updated: Aug 8, 2022

Based on a true story

Long ago in the East-Central California slopes of Sierra Nevada lived a tribe known as The Western Mono or Monache tribe of Cherokee heritage. This took place right before the California gold rush. The tribe followed the Miwok and the Yokust customs of dividing tribe into two divisions aligning with animal totems. The family of that division would be considered to have head power with that animal totem. Mainly derived from The Eagle line and The Roadrunner.

There once was a girl from this tribe her name was Laqoia. She was very fluid in herbal medicinal healing practices. So the tribe relied on her for her energy to help heal them and catered to their needs. She did this all the time and it was long and exhausting days. She loved what she was able to do and how she was able to heal those in the tribe. They were showing drastic results from her medicinal care and energy exchange.

She began to forsake herself. She grew bitter and could often come out as unstable or cold to the others in her tribe and mean. That was when her medicine began to not work. She wondered why? She wondered what she was doing so wrong that all of a sudden her medicine began to not cultivate results.

"Oh Elder Nimma!" She cried went into hug her Elder around her waist. One day feeling grief stricken and full of disbelief. "How come my medicine doesn't work anymore?" "I tried everything Nimma!" "I don't know what I am doing wrong all of a sudden? What am I doing wrong Nimma!"

"Oh my dear Laqoia." She said in a soft spoken, gentle voice. She reached out to her. "It is not what you are doing wrong my child. It is that you forgot about love."

"LOVE!" Laqoia exclaimed! "But all I ever do is show the others love. Although I feel beaten down, exhausted, and often taken advantage of by the others. What am I to do Nimma?" Now in full blown tears.

"Oh Laqoia, dry your tears my child. You forgot to love you. It is not that you don't show the others how much you care for them. It is that you forget to care for yourself. That is why you feel exhausted and tired and beaten down all the time."

"Oh Nimma what am I to do now? How do I go back to loving myself?"

"My sweet dear Laqoia thou must journey into the wilderness to replenish your energy and self love. However long it takes for you to remember how to love yourself."

"Oh Thank You Nimma that is what I must do! I shall go and say goodbye to the others and go on this journey to seek myself again. Will the others be ok while I am gone?

"Yes of course I will help take care of their needs as you are away my child." Said Nimma.

So that is what Laqoia did. She went into the wilderness for days upon end until she started to connect to nature and find herself again. She first tried to connect to the trees of wisdom and then the animals and the birds. She asked them what their names were and they all responded the exact same way. "I am you."

So frustrated she one day exclaimed to herself this does not help me what else can I do? She then thought to herself ok so the animals and the trees all say the same things. How can this be? What else can I use? So the day then turned to night and while out by the fire and looking up at the stars she thought oh "THE STARS!" she exclaimed! "Yes the STARS can guide me home!" "This is what we are forgetting!" "Yes animal totems carry strong medicine! But the Stars guide us home!"

Laqoia then began connecting herself to the stars. Night after night she would meditate by the fire and she began to connect her soul to them. She began to awaken. They told her the story of her soul. Stars had spirits too and many of them. They began to take form and show themselves to her. They acted as spirit guides many of them as they helped her shift her shadow parts of self they carried out for her. They gave her additional information in regards to her own healing and how to give herself what she needed in order to connect to her own love again.

She did this for a full cycle until she felt as if she was ready to return home to her tribe. She then used the stars to take her back to her tribe that is how she found her way home. When she was ready she realized she had bridged some kind of Empathic Curve. When the others came to greet her she didn't feel their pain as badly. She realized that this time away she was able to free her energy. All the tribe members that she couldn't help before she left came up to her after her long travels and told her "Look! I am healed young child! I am healed and you did this! I am so grateful for you!" She began to fully embrace her gifts and even more gifts came out that she never even knew about.

She was so happy she cried tears of joy. She went up to Elder Nimma and said, "Nimma! Thank you so much! I was able to connect to the Stars to find my way home!"

Nimma said, "Young child, I am so happy and proud of you that you accomplished all this! See when it comes to love you have to take care of your own needs first. That is how we heal."

Laqoia then took the same information she learned and helped the rest of the tribe members connect to their stars. They began to find out more information that helped them to evolve and Ascend as a tribe. They found their way home.

So as an important message in regards to this story the STARS can lead us home and back to our soul's origins. It is important to take care of our own needs before taking care of anyone else. Connecting back to our true self love is the ultimate way to bridge our Empathic Gap. This is why we feel healing is a burden but when we rebirth ourselves it is the best way to call our selves home. This is what Laqoia learned and she applies it to this day before you and extends love to all.

Every detail is important Starseed connect to the self and then you can return to your Innocence
